Lead cast toy soldier, much of his original paint remains. I had just changed the batteries in the Exterra 305 and the first signal I got was a 36 and in the hole, this cute little soldier.

Rock on. Good looking peice

Man I had dozens of those in the 50's, very nice.

Nice find Armadillo66! You have yourself a Barclay #906 "Charging Soldier" of the "pod foot" design, made between the mid-1950's to about 1971. It is listed in Richard O'Brien's definitive book on toy soldiers, "Collecting Toy Soldiers, An Identification and Value Guide #2", as Barclay #B234. It was painted with either a khaki, green, or red uniform. Go out there and find his squad-mates! Happy Hunting. Subterranean.

Thank you very much for the ID, I will keep looking for his missing squad and maybe one of their vehicles

Awesome find!!

Joe
