Toy cap gun... Date it??

Found this toy about 10 inches at a church erected in 1876... Any ideas on date... only marking is the words longhorn.. and the detail visible in the picture.. the reverse is blank.. thank you

Yes, too bad is right. This is a very unusual gun that is hard to find. It is a Leslie-Henry pop up cap box with the name Longhorn on both sides of the frame . A very rare item. It is pic. On page 231 #248 in the backyard Buckaroos by Jim Schleyer. Where it is described as rare and dates to the 1950's.
