Tot Lot Gives up Huge Amount!

I dug out 524 coins out of a tot lot along with 13 rings, 9 tokens, 3 foreign coins, numerous charms, several pendants, and other items.
One of the rings is 14K and one pendant is .925.
Total clad is $51.68 which is a new record for one tot lot

NICE going How long did it take to get to where your at now ?

That tot lot took two days to get all the targets removed. Almost one target per step.

Yea, I know. My previous record was set 15 years ago when I took out $37.00 from a tot lot in Vallejo California. This new record of $52 00 will probably never be broken.

No, didn't need a meter machine. I was using a Tessorro Conquistador which is super light. In a tot lot you dig everything so you don't miss the small gold jewelry.

Tesoro's can still get the goods! They're still great park and tot lot machines.

I was exhausted after the first 2 days. When you add up all the trash, coins, and miscellaneous targets I probably bent down to recover an item one thousand times.

Actually it could happen. I know a guy who found a 2 1/2 dollar gold piece I a tot lot. I wish more kids would bring their parents coin collections to school

Im new to Treasure Net but love to hunt for things mostly amueter surface mining type of guy. I don't have any real tools like a detector, but your incredible work at the playground is such an inspiration. I did find a 1901 indian head penny in my back yard while chopping fire wood an dits for sure one of the best coins I have found. Any suggestions for beginner metal detector? I grew up in Hawaii and so something for underwater/ocean use might be wise if i want to own just one. also how do I get my wife to not hate my love for looking for treasure? thanks DQ

Just get a entry level machine from Garrett, Minlab, or Fisher.
For under water get a Minlab or a Fisher.
To get your wife interested sell your first gold jewelry and give her the check. I sold a big pile of miscellaneous gold jewelry to a refinery and gave my wife the check.
