I decided to check out a tot lot i found last year but never got to hunt.
There were no expectations, just wanted to see what was there.

I was surprised at the low amount of trash and a high clad count, including a dollar coin. I'm pretty sure no one has hunted there, at lest not recently.
There wasn't much in the way of jewelry just 2 small junk pieces. This being a church school tot lot i was a little surprised i didn't find any religious pendants. Doesn't mean there isn't any, i just didn't find any.

The ground mantainence crew was in the front mowing, when I was leaving one of the guys came over and ask if I lost something and they could look for it.
I thanked him and explained it was a hobby, and i didn't lose anything.

Now this makes me wonder about me! :what:
In the past few years i've had a lady give me a quarter, and 2 offers to help me find what ever I lost. :what::what::what:

....maybe my persona needs a little work? :what:

Go back looking for those midtones even if they sound bad. I bet there is a gold something in there hiding, that place has not been hunted in a long long time if ever. Has to be some gold in there.

Thanks Treb! In the wood chips i dig everything. There were a lot of targets and some are close to the metal structures. I didn't cover the entire area, there has to be some silver/gold there just by the odds alone. ;)

Life got in the way, you know how it goes.
If the place is producing that much consistently, we may have just found our retirement funds! :eek:;)
 

That's a heck of a haul for a tot lot. Congrats! Btw, I sometimes wonder what other think of me when I'm done and am covered with dirt...lol. Baglady is about right!:laughing7::laughing7:

Congratz! That is a TON of coinage from a tot lot! I hit one after work today for a total of 1 quarter, 3 dimes, 1 nickel, 1 penny and one junk earring.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks! This is by no means my typical tot lot coin haul, which are more like yours.

No one has hunted this one, probably afraid of the nuns! :eek:
 

Yes nice stack of quarters. I like to tell them I'm looking for my marbles just to see what they say then go from there. Lol

Body parts were starting to protest, i did have to throw in the towel and head for home...while i was still able to get in the truck! :D
 

Sweet hunt Ms BpBp. Low trash to target ratio makes for a good hunt. Thanks for rescuing those coins one beep at a time. :notworthy:
