I found a big box or these that a family had put out for trash one day about a year ago, and these were tossed around in the bottom. A couple are 1/2 certificates that say U.S. victory stamps on them, but most are 1/4 certificates. They expired in 1949. Haven't been able to find much about these online, so any info/value would be great!

Thanks,
Dihren

Wait, what was in the box besides these? Are we missing a picture?
Anyway, back then Topps, which was "born" in 1938 only made chewing gum, and these would come wrapped with it. Didn't start making baseball cards until 1951. These could be used to buy things like a shirts, small home goods, etc. A lot like Green Stamps, which likely has a lot more information about it online (if those were before your time... I myself just barely remember them) and of course you had to save a bajillion of them to earn such swell stuff.

It as a really weird box. An old simple bow with real feathered arrows, but they were all messed up, and then some garbage. Then the Topps. Im guessing its was an older family throwing stuff out before as they moved into the local retirement home. Thanks for the info!

I sorry I thought I had uploaded pictures. Here you go. Thank you for the website. Some of the examples were the ones I have. I have several hundred of the green ones, and about 8-10 of the red ones.
