That is not being truthful to yourself Ben. What you are doing is making fun of another's observations and beliefs. If you don't believe him maybe you could research it and then come back here and try to prove that. But slinging it out there means you have no way to back it up, and might be spouting nonsense and mob mentality.

On Sept. 15, Pres. Obama appeared on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,"*where he said 80 or 90 percent of Americans agreed with him on gun control, but legislation couldn’t be passed because of an obstinate “faction of the Republican Party.”

The comment was in response to Stephanopoulos’ question about why Obama’s first term platform has seemingly disappeared in his second term.

“You put gun control at the top of the agenda, immigration reform, climate change—all of it's stalled or reversing,” Stephanopoulos said.

“How do you answer the argument that beyond the deficit, this has been a lost year, and how do you save it?”
First, Obama blamed the failure of the extremely controversial immigration bill on Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner.
Then he addressed gun control, asserting that a supermajority of Americans was on his side and that Republicans in Congress were the problem.

“The problem we have is we have a faction of the Republican Party, in the House of Representatives in particular, that view compromise as a dirty word, and anything that is either remotely associated with me, they feel obliged to oppose,” Obama said.

Lawmakers are being flooded by their constituents fighting the gun control which is why Rep in congress are fighting it.

I have made it known to all my reps I will not only not support them, I will actively campaign against anyone supporting the gun control being pushed by b-o and his liberal followers.

There are millions upon millions of us that will not allow our Bill of Rights to be rewritten by b-o, Feinstein and other liberals.....

rest assured my opinions are that of my own and created out of my firm belief system,i dont post much on subjects such as these but sometimes feel compelled to do so, when i do it is an expression of my veiw on the topic. as for your ? on my statement (they) is a very general term, i took for granted that most are aware of the constant barrage on anything religious there are numerious groups that target any public display of religion, because of their beliefs , which is forcing their veiw ,over that of anyone else,which i believe to be an infrigement on the right of expression,speech, press. to insinuate that i am spouting mob mentality,well then i supose that i am a member of that (mob), i sit on no fence brother! i know where i stand, and will stand.
