Found this today 3 1/2 under. Wooded lot next door is being bushed hogged so I took the opportunity to detect it. Haven't cleaned yet to find a date or manufacturer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's hard to say. They've been around over a hundred years, but still in use today.

I only see one pic (the 1st one), but if I had to take a guess, I'd say probably a homemade fence stretcher, or a device for hoisting up a bagged deer.
