Went out today and found this in the sand down 10 inches

It broke when i pulled it out, its still cool looking

I thought it might be used in making pottery any one know what it is used for

Its 9.5 inches long 5/8 inch wide on the non broken blade

third scan i it on its side th blades are about 1/8 inch thick the handle is 5/16 inch and round

lying flat the long unbroken blade is curved up 1/2 inch the broken blade curves downward 1/2 inch

Sorry the batteries are dead in my camera so i use my scanner

We call them a "small tool"! Used for intricate work on cornice, making good on the mitres and stuff.

I enjoyed pottery class in school and when i found this it was the first thing that came to mind!!!

Just wondering how it got on the bank of the Columbia river 5 miles from any homes?? there are a lot of fishermen and women around but cant think on how they would use it!!!!
