When I found these flattened objects at an old Mill house I wasn't sure what they were until I saw a thin reeded edge on one of the discs...which rang up as silver on my machine. I looked up and saw the train tracks about 50 feet away

shame on the train smashed coins .. we did it too ..we lived two doors from the tracks and always smashed pennies and 5 centers all the time when we were kids...nice finds still!
