That is hillarious. I think someone must have been left out of the will. Creepy!!!!! The thing that makes me laugh every time I think about it were 2 posts 2 different people who bought these beautiful vases at a thrift store and wanted to know if they were valuable and they turned out to be URNS LMAO Dude those would be gone so fast,, sorry to change the subject but good eye to notice that!!!!!!!@LOL

A2coins,
Great find.
I love finding tokens.
I don't see any listing on Richards Token Database, so you might want to take some nice clear pictures and post it.

TokenCatalog.com

Congrats

Makes sense with the last name, the Greek community here is huge. Beats the Chucky Cheese token I found two weeks ago, lmao.

Tommy--Here is the listing from the 1927 Ann Arbor City Directory. Dan was a nickname. Trade tokens like this were used all over - in the case of yours, a business may have allowed "small stake" gambling at card or pool games. Rather than using money which would have been patently against the law, they had tokens made which were used instead of cash. Same effect, but it went under the radar of the law enforcement people. Trade tokens with the name of an individual proprietor are not at all unusual. The book of Michigan Trade Tokens is almost three inches thick. Please do take better pics and post this one on tokencatalog for the good of the hobby, or, with your permission, I could post them.

That's a great historical find! There's another for your pile of forever keepers.

However, I will say that there are token collectors out there who will offer you bucks to get them into their collections. Happened to a friend of mine, a $75 offer sent it to someone else's collection :)
