Neat find! I wasn't able to find that token listed - I don't have any Indiana books though. Maybe someone in the Tokens & Tags section can help with more info.

Tokens & Tags

I do think the issuer was based in Indianapolis circa 1909. Here is an advertisement:

Nice old token, and great that the detail allows you to ID it. Well done! Congrats!

Jackson Place is immediately adjacent (to the north) of Union Station. Based on that, I offer this quote:
"[FONT=&quot]JOHN J: F0SSAT1 DIES Operated Delicatessen Shop In Union Station for Forty rflTe Tears. John J. Fottati, age seventy, owner of a delicatessen shop in the Union Station for. forty - five years, died' Friday of, bronchial pneumonia at St Francis Hospital.' Re had been ill two years. Born in Italy, he came to Indianapolis with, his wife. Lena Fossati, now deadV "when twenty - two "years old. His was one of the oldest 'Italian families in the city."

I'd bet a dime this was the owner of the store from which the token was issued.
Don.........

Thanks to Bramblefind and Mackaydon for the help!!! I thought it would be cool to find a living relative to see if they are interested in it but I haven't had much luck yet.
Looks like John was marrried to Lena and had two son;s Irvin(firefighter) & Louise then I think maybe Irvin&Mary had two sons James & Delmar and Delmar died in 2005 but thats all I have for now...
Not sure about Louise but I know he was a respected Dectective in Indy I will do some more digging I believe he died in 1943. I couldn't find anything on James ....

Yes, Delmar died in 2005 (March 15th). His middle initial is 'J'.
He was buried in Calvary Cemetary, 435 W. Troy Ave., Indy.
If you contact them, they may give you a list of those who attended the funeral or a list of his kin still living.
Good luck,
Don...
