Token, Buttons, IH, and Bell

I got an early start yesterday and headed for an old farmstead site which no longer has a road to it.
I put on the backpack and started on the long walk . Just off the road is a pig farm which was dead silent. The sweet smell of the pig waste burned my nostrils as I approached.
Suddenly I began to hear the grunting and slight squealing of the pigs inside.
They must have heard , or smelled, me walking by.
What were they saying? Come and free me , or maybe ,come in here and we will have you for a meal.
What misery to be a pig. You are born and raised in a long low building and the only time you get to see the outside world is on the way to the slaughter house.
Enough of that----
These are my finds.

I went back today and hunted the woods next to the field.
I found this huge Crotal bell and 1940 Quarter.
When I saw the silver in the hole I thought for sure it had to be at least a Barber since the other finds were all old. It was a little disappointing but I'll take it.

I like how the shot of the silver in the hole was all shaky and out of focus! Excited a little?

The early buttons are great. The flower motif button in particular impressed me.

The token is very cool. I thought it was going to be a Palmolive. Guess they had competition.

Those pig farms can really be overpowering. My Uncle has a friend that has one in Maryland. I remember getting up close to it in the summer - wow - that will awaken your smeller!
