Just the one day detecting this weekend, so we decided to try out another of our new fields 😅 this one was a winner! xx

First off I found this ‘Tria Juncta in UNO’ order of the bath Military Badge. Then a Lion Livery Button, followed by 2 Peacock Livery buttons (Manners/Duke of Rutland), then a pretty flower button, 2 machine badges, pot leg a spoon handle, 2 thimbles, lead roll, musket ball and 2 other bullets, a lighter, 2 old nails, himself said they are hand made (?) buttons, 2 pre dec, an 1874 Victoria penny, and last but not least, I found a cut hammered of Henry 2nd 1133-1189! Very happy with that! 😎 xx

The village is in the valley ond surround by terraced grassland hillsides… will put the LiDAR in the comments. We know there was a Roman Villa on the other side but there is not a lot of history on the village to be found … so we are a bit in the dark as to which fields to try. We are also hampered by the long grass in some fields, but come winter we will get a better feel for what’s beneath our feet! xx
