Today's Relic Hunt in the woods

My buddy Stan and I hit a site off the beaten track today. Tough hunting but still a fun outing. I found a few whatizits and a couple other doodads. The small flat button says warrented fine on it. The weight says 10 gram but it's hard to see in the picture. The copper is toast. Can't get nothing off it. Lots of glass, pottery, ceramics etc. Stan's coins are a 1889 indianhead and a 1917 wheatie.

Re: Today's Relic Hunt in the woods

Nice finds the buckles are great. The open thimbles (sewing rings) were used as far back as the 9th century in the UK. I found one here in NH probably 17th century. Yours appears to be in nice condition and may be quite old.

Nice finds in the woods.
May have been a small house there at one time
and could be some old bottles in good shape
near by just under the dirt.
