It's been a while since I posted. I've been on summer break (from MDing) and now getting back out there this past month or so.
Today I met up with pa-dirt_nc-sand, HighVDI, and Steve in PA for a group hunt in Northern Allegheny County PA. A special thanks to Thad who shared one of his researched spots. He found a Seated Dime (click the link to find his post) http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/today-s-finds/594344-my-oldest-us-silver-fun-tnet-group-hunt.html. I was lucky enough to pull a couple Largies near by.
One of my Largies was stamped and the other shows 1833. Here are my coolest finds from today's group hunt.
Past month or so finds below.
I've been hitting Seldom Seen recently and I was able to pull some goodies including a bucket lister! My first Flying Eagle Cent (1857).
Overall finds
I found the aluminum coin and the chinese coin under a rock together. A few buttons were found in and around my Largie spot.
Then down the street from where i live, in Carnegie, I found more goodies including a 1918 Merc.
I also went back to the spot in Rennerdale where I found my seated quarter earlier this year. I found my first Canadian LC.
I hope everyone has been doing well searching the dirt. Thanks for looking!
