Today's nickel box- ENDER!! ~~~~~~with PICTURES~~~~~~~~

Hi all, finished a box of nickels, and I check for enders before I open the rolls of nickels, never gotten an ender, but this time I did! A buffalo nickel reverse. Looked good enough to have a date based on the buffalo, but it didn't. Used Nic-A-Date, and it is from 1916!!

Here's the box, decant one too:

Foreign: 1988 Canadian nickel worth 5.4 cents melt(just stating, I do not melt coins)
1991 Columbia 50 pesos worth 2.7 cents

The 1939 is in such awesome shape considering it came from a nickel roll, I almost passed the reverse off as a newer coin, going in a cardboard 2x2, maybe even my 7070 dansco type set. All 7 steps(5 upper and the 2 lower) are visable, and you can see them with less detail with the naked eye, used my 10x loupe. Also, the triangle below the dome is present clearly to the naked eye. Sorry about the bad scans, the coin looks so much better in person.

It looks like you got one of my boxes this week!!!! The '39 is SWEET~~~ not a double Monty, but sweet nonetheless.

Check the 1916 closely to see if It's a double die, doubt it -good readable date though!!

My last 3 Loomis boxs (all #4438) are skunks. One or two 1950, 54s etc. I never thought I'd see a skunk nickel box.

It looks like you got one of my boxes this week!!!! The '39 is SWEET~~~ not a double Monty, but sweet nonetheless.

I don't know Trench look at the "M" & the last "O" in "Monticello", the "F" in "FIVE" and the "T" in "CENTS"
Looks like there is doubling, but I'm no expert

Get a 10x and see for yourself.

This box of nickels was exceptional, here's my average: 1 silver war nickel per box, and 1 buffalo nickel every 3 boxes(was 3 1/2 before this one) ... Hope you get a decant box, my best box would be when I get my first 1950-d nickel. I also need 38d 38s 39d 39s for my collection which should take some time to find. I will keep at nickels until I complete my goal
