Today's meager finds and a question about coils

Hi all,

Went to a new site for about 45 minutes, a recent home demo/construction site.


Two memorial cents, a square head nail, and a bunch of junk.

I'm thinking about getting a new coil. I have a Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 with the standard 8" coil. I'm thinking about the 4" "gold nugget" coil. Anyone use that coil or a comparable coil? How do the hits differ over larger coils? Worth the $32?

Since I tag-team sites with a buddy, I was thinking of having one 8" going on the large areas and the 4" for tight spots and to pick out his finds. Good plan?
