Today's hunt for the birds

Only winged woodpeckers at Spring Lake today.

Nice Franklin!

Bridle dits, bullets, horseshoes, milk can lids and even an early 60' mem but the tableware was, well, okay, dirty site! Should have brought the Sherpa along to carry all the scrap out.

Short on coinage but it was a great day to go bird watching.

Jon, your old man is awesome, just glad he didn't have any firewater along.

Dan, gotta 7b error code BSOD call to deal with, I shoulda kept you tagging along!

Trash, Keeneyville rules, go tell your mom!

Don't forget to wash off the chemical defoliant the FP used at the site when you get home. Don't wanna wake up tomorrow with extra appendages...

Hey, a chance to relic hunt on very old farm ground.
The vast well of knowledge from you is worth twice the price of admission!
Thanks LowBatts for showing the spots and getting them in while the weather is nice.
Hey, no coins, But no tics ! That's gotta count for something...

Re: Today's hunt for the birds

Thanks for taking us along Lowbats. Your like a walking history book!

I got the memorial cent. 1961D. Also found half a toy gun. Luckily didn't need to pull it on the crazy Freddy whatever you called them. Great story in the parking lot on the way out!

Jon, your Dad is awesome! I think he was getting a little fustrated with me because i kept saying what?

Looking forward to our hunt tomorrow. Need to tackle my silver deficiency.

Having fun counts too. . . I wish I could have made it out there Sunday
but I was having fun cleaning out the garage to make room for all the "stuff"
my two are bringing home from college for the summer :tongue3:

Take care,
Mark

It was nice out. Hey Jon, can you get a pic of that lamp wick feeder with the 1797 date on it from your Pop? Maybe a shot of that Frankie too?
