Come on man, don't let that stop you! :D

The ground isn't frozen yet is it? Then what's your excuse? Your young. Your body can take some abuse.

You know someone might be finding your stuff while your being comfy. ;D

Bob

PS - I think that would stop me but I have a good excuse!

To most folks here on long island that would be considered a blizzard. it's about sixty and windy here so i'll just have to detect alittle for you. hh

Poor poor kid..... :-\

Well here....I'll let you look through my back window.....maybe that'll make you feel better for a second or two...

Nana that cruel and unjust punishment. :o :'(
Actually here in Vermont it is unusually warm 66 degrees but I still can't go out even though it is warmer. The wind is howling up a storm and branches are breaking I won't be surprised if we lose power before the day is over. I guess we are suppose to have a hum dinger of a storm brewing, probably it's the left overs of the midwest storms they've been having. It seems like such a waste not beening able to take advantage of the last warm day.
By the way Nana that's a nice view out your back window. :)

Here is what it is like here. Below freezing, north wind. Well we get more?? ?:'(

That's what it looked like here in Northern Michigan yesterday morning. They say we're to get up to 16 inches of snow by tomorrow. Normally we maintain about 18 inches on the ground throughout the winter. Starting about January, they'll drive their cars/trucks out on the lakes to do ice fishing. They'll never get me to ride with them :o

Winter here means the detector in the closet, watching treasure videos, reading, research, etc..

Hey "Z" Kid, That pic really doesn't tell the whole story.
What you can't see in the pic. is that the temp is in the single digits with about a 40 mph wind.
Thats about what it looks like at my house too.
Nana, Its nice to still see leaves on the trees. I miss them already.

Z-man, I feel for you to. The temp is dropping here. No snow yet, but temp to go into the 20s. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
But hopefully, warms to mid 60's during day. Good luck if you go hunting, just be careful of frost bite.

Looks "almost" as bad as it does here! I know how it is ;D

Ha! I've got ya'll beat! It's been down to minus 14? already, ground is frozen at least to 6 inches (probably more), and we've got 4" of snow on the ground with five more straight days of snow forecasted. If your ground isn't frozen, go hunt and keep me entertained. ;D

Looks like it feels here,,, 20 degrees this morn'n... Yesterday it was a blistering 35 degrees and I started to go out, but when I stuck my nose out the door I had forgotten about the north west wind blowind at around 20 MPH,,, Wind Chill was 22...
I think it's time for another Crawl space hunt...
Not going to complain too much,,, yet... ;D it's been a pretty mild winter so-far...
Good luck & Happy hunting~

Forgot I left out a bucket, in the back yard, of a few found bottles. Had them soaking in water to clean out bad
stuff inside. Got home from work yesterday and remembered, brought the bucket in, but
water frozen. Checked them this morning all ok.

Temps 17/30 today, was 32/23 yesterday.

all have a good un.....................
