An anyone give me info on the button I found today? It say "WIESENFELD & Co. BALTO"
The front has a design and it looks like it says
"PADINT". Any info would be greatly appreciated.

WIESENFELD & Co. was a wholesale clothier in Baltimore, advertising as early as the 1850's. It was started by a man named Moses Wiesenfeld who got off the boat from Germany in 1838, speaking no english at all. Through hard work and industry, he built an enormous clothing manufacturing concern, which eventually included the brands "BVD" underwear, and "London Fog" coats and jackets.
