hey digger
it sure was a nice day today
you sure have colorful material around there
did you here any more about the blue tongue?

Nice stuff Digger!

Blue tongue? Parts of SD really got smacked with it last year.

Good stuff...
Glad you got out there.
All I managed yesterday was a broken kaolin pipe bowl and a big piece of glass in my hand.
What on earth is blue tongue?
It sounds like a punchline from a dirty joke.

Always good to get out and always better if you score.

Thank You for your responses! Blue Tongue is a virus that is transmitted to deer, antelope, elk, and other big game ungulates. They get a real high fever and are constantly drinking and will ever lay down in any water source to cool their fever, thus that is why you find them dead in and near a water source. You may want to read my encounter in the ''General Discussion'' forum.

Yes, it was not a bad day to get out. A neighbor up the road found at least 6 Whitetail deer dead that were from yearlings to a big 5 point buck.

Nice hunt digger. I will check it out in the other forum. I had to put a bunch down a few years ago. Good news is if they survive they are immune. It doe not hurt the meat. Nice seeing you get out.
