So Many of you may or may not know that I have shifted my treasure hunting to primarily beach and water hunts. I retired from police work after 32 years with 15 of those years enjoying the fun of privy digging for bottles. I tell ya I sure miss it a lot. I moved from Indiana to Florida. The weather is great and no more snow. So a lot of my early on posts with Treasurenet are from metal detecting homes and farms, then 15 years of bottle digging and now I’m on to new adventures at the beaches. A little bit different than thousands of pounds of dirt for treasure to scooping a few pounds of sand and shells. A learning curve none the less. So here are a few pics from some recent digs including todays, yesterdays and more!!!
Did I tell ya I miss bottle digging? I hope to do some more of that in the future with my best buddy Don but for now gold and silver is pretty fun. It’s good to be back posting again. As always be safe out there everyone. Jgas

You won overwhelmingly brother. Nice bunch of finds.

You seem to have transitioned from dirt to sand quite easily.
Congratulations on the recoveries.
You can still pick up sea glass.🤣

Congrats on your retirement, your move to Florida, and your nice batch of finds !

What part of Florida did you move to?

What part of Florida did you move to?
I live in Estero south of Ft Myers. Jgas. Thanks for the replies guys. Appreciate it. It’s been fun so far here in the water.

There used to be good bottle digging in the Tampa Bay area. Mostly downtown and in Ybor City. I haven't been down that way in a very long time though. Good luck!
