After missing last weekends due to high winds and heavy rain, was itching to get back out today, but Himself’s truck broke down yesterday… so we had to take my wheels, which meant no off roading, so a field with suitable parking had to be located! But we had a lovely day and even saw the sun! Xx

Not sure what this first item is, not a bull nose ring.. 🤔, not sure what the next is either…! But then we we have a lovely lead weight, a chunky key hole cover, part of a spoon, thimble, odd little button, then a tack decoration and another pretty button, a disk with 12 on it, big old square nail, buttons, 1874 pre dec, and my solitary scrappy Roman xx

No flowers to be found today but the trees are looking pretty 😆 xx

Good to see you got out to dig.

The little pointy one with the hole could be a dial of sorts.

The 2 buttons have really cool design.
Well dug on the Roman.

Now this truck issue. It's not the first time reading this saga.
Doesn't he make sure the contraption is well ready?
Like he's only has Monday-Fridays to have it in top shape.

Only solution is for you to buy one, then the problem is solved.🙂

Great assortment of finds as usual. Just curious, on a day out how much trash do you dig? I know the off-road vehicle troubles. I had to junk my 4x4 recently due to timing and transmission issues. It was getting to the point where I was spending too much money on it.

You have some great hunting grounds. :icon_thumleft:

Is that "chunky keyhole cover" round? It really looks like a valve or faucet handle.
No it is concave on the back… its the chunkiest one ive ever found tho !! 😃 xx

Thanks Peps xx his truck is a works truck, nd yes the most unreliable truck ever, this time its the ignition key barrel that has collapsed?? Not even sure i understand what that means.. other than the key wont go in the hole.. therefore the truck wont move 🙄 xx

Ah thank you xx the only “trash” we dig is odd bits of lead, and occasional old tin metal bits. Oh and the odd cartridge cases… so we amre super lucky! xx

However the fields around the castle are more trashy as used for events.. so bottle tops feature there xx 😬 xx

There's lots of online videos on how to repair that issue.
Invite himself over for dinner and watch it together ❤️.
