Copper bracelets were popular back in the late 1960s early 1970s among hippies and wannabees, some kind of spiritual significance if I remember.Didn,t do the hippie thing myself.Check and see if copper. Copper bracelets were popular here in years past. Aztec gold jewelry I've seen has religious and ceremonial associations. I do have a clay pot with lid was made in Peru. It's not an artifact but could be a replica decorated in Aztec design. Symbols, don't think any even come close to your bracelet... but I'll look it over good anyway.
I think you are right but everything is fuzzy from back then.Copper bracelets were popular back in the late 1960s early 1970s among hippies and wannabees, some kind of spiritual significance if I remember.Didn,t do the hippie thing myself.

Good postTried getting different angles.
Did you gather turquoise yourself? You should see the piece of turquoise keep in it. Think it was meant to be held in hand for healing... so, is natural color with deep dark blue inclusions. Forget the mine it came from, a very special turquoise.

I am so sorry for your loss.
About the item you posted. My belief is it is art deco of Dates from an Aztec calendar.
I dug out a calendar for you to look at and some of the symbols look similar. It is not Mayan.
Hope this helps.
