Oh **** that's a kick in the teeth lol still a buzz finding it tho
Your finds are smart how did you get to dig a church

I just had to choose a title I had not used before to try & make it stand out from the other few hundred fields we have permission on & this field was the closest to a Church we have ever detected. The ploughed field was only 30 metres from one of the side walls & just the other side of the graveyard that was walled off.
I have no interest in trying within the Church grounds, but as a general rule of thumb; the closer the field the more medieval finds you get.
