Great button! By design it looks like early french. Not sure on the horn.

Don't know..
Maybe a "seal" of some sort???
Still Old and Cool IMO.

The first was identified as a button from Napoleonic Army. The second is a wax seal. I just didn't know if it could be identified to a time period or place.

Heck Shows what I know.
I thought both were the Same piece.

No worries. I should have been more descriptive. Thanks for the replies:)

The seal looks 18th C by shape & style.

Thanks Crusader!

Nice find on the seal, any chance of making a wax impression to see what the symbol is?

I could try. Hold one

There is alot more detail but regular candle wax doesn't work well

:laughing7: you're welcome! I was referring to the military button, because the horn on it makes it more interesting than the seal. Never seen before.

Pretty darn cool! Congrats on some great finds

Looks like a scrolling 'R' with sunbrust symbol above.
