It has been raining all day but looked like it might let up . I called Richard and he said it was raining cats and dogs out his house . An hour later he calls and said he is going mding . So I met him downtown and its still raining we jump in my rig and start looking for place to hunt. Well we know they have been doing construction at Univerity high school circa: 1917 we look at the front of the building and they tore out all the shrubs. and all the sudden the rain lets up . we hunted maybe 2 hours digging lots of targets this place is famous for clad being 6"-8" deep anyway in one of the piles of dirt I scored a 1911s Barber dime that was the only old coin I found AS soon as it started to get dark it started pouring rain thx for looking HH RonC

Great find. It's been a loooong time since I've found any Barbers.

Very nice dime. Will go good in a collection. Congradulations.....

I know you were just joking when you casually said
that you were gonna find a 1909 Barber today..... well, 1911
is not that far off and that's scary!! :o :o
Congratulations on a great find Ron... the silver continues.

don't seem like we find the S mints here in TN that often.

You lucky dog. I still don't have one of those after 9 years. Congratulations.
