today's digs /w silver

school / soccer field grassy area finds found the rings one two three all within inches of one another.
only sight I hit today due to the fact I dug every bip on the screen ..
always amazing how shredded alum cans can make it 5" down.
most of the trash I found made it into the nearest trash can short of a few pull tabs that got mixed with the goodies.

2 kids had to see what I was up to so I gave them each a dug dime and they went of ooooh neat as they walked off
admirering dirty dug dimes.. oh to be a kid again..

look at me I figured out how to post more than one photo at a time.. i feel kinda dumb now

Congrats on the finds today . Does the measuring tape still work. I know i find tools from time to time and just clean them and add to my tool box

the tape works like a champ. tad rusty on the verry end but otherwise fine.
and btw the star ring is stamped 965.

& has aneyone ever sold these little rings. if so what do they go for .. thanks

Upier, interesting silver ring. ?It looks like it could be satanic. ? Did you find that it helped you to dig every blip? ?I've tried taking the advice on here to do that and everytime I do, I end up with just what I expected...trash. ?

the more you swing the better it seems you can determin whats what. but the mystery factor still plays a big part
I usually dig every thing that beeps depending on where i am and what Ive been getting.
if in a park i tend to dig less trash signals that are between 1 and 3 inches. as that seems to be where the pull tabs
like to hang out.

some of the luck seems to be on the machine I'm swinging nowdays compared to my former one
my take has gone up 100 fold and Ive found more rings in the last 2 months than i have in the 4 years of using my older detector.
although Ive found all kinds of odd stuff while digging every bleep is something -some stuff that i did not deem posting material
examples consist of spoons forks etc - metal valve stem tire caps - watches and parts of watches - makeup cases - lipstick things -
battery's - shredded aluminum can parts - pull tabs " by the hundreds" - pens - pins - penile ends - funky charms and necklace parts-
and the list goes on.

seems for rings Ive found most of them under or near trees. people like to drop there bags coats etc there while they go play..coins and other items fall out of bags & pockets
yet there is the luck factor. gada swing your coil over it in the first place to find it..

oh yea and keys. Ive found plenty of keys.

robert, the soccer field must have been close to John Bobbit's house. Seriously, I've seen rings of that type sell for about $10 at quicky stores. HH
