Todays BAG Lot Finds

Well maybe not L&Co. It does have the style of the era and a signed gold stick pin is better then an unsigned piece. By the way I've noticed your starting to knock it out of the park on some of the gold jewelry finds lately. The Cartier piece kind of blows me away. You change some tactics there kiddo? I have to admit, I got a bit jealous over that find, but still very much commend you on such a great score. I tip my hat to you and I say onward we go. Nice job:thumbsup:
I've taken the suggestions of many wise fellow treasure net co-folk --- I still remember your response to one of my very first finds (snake pin)!!

I'm definitely more mindful of color, tone, luster, pin backing, hallmark location (often conspicuous for men's jewelry), European hallmarks, etc...

I also travel with a magnet (everywhere), not the best technique, but it has help me narrow down trickier pieces.

I'm also doing A LOT MORE hunting. My husband calls it an addiction. I see it as perfecting my hobby!!! He doesn't complain though when he sees how much return on investment a $0.50 yard sale gold find can bring!!!

How well do those ornaments sell? Is there a value/price guide? Is there a big collectors market for them?

It really depends on the piece. Repainted pieces and first I'm series pieces seem to command the most money. Sometimes, in my opinion, it doesn't make any sense why a particular piece sold for so much money.
