Todays 8 Boxes About Time 5/7/10

Well it is about time that this happened to me !
I picked up 8 boxes of halves 4 of which were skunks and this is what I got.
2x 1964
7x 40%
I've been waiting since June of 09 for this to happen.
Well I'm happy that my son got a dream box. I guess there is a limit of one dream box a week per family.
So I will probably be getting mine next week

OB,
Got four skunkers and two boxes with one. Most skunk boxes I've had since June of 09. Also hit the record for the least amount of keepers from 8 boxes.
My wednesday 8 were not too hot either. Should pick-up next week. If not I'll fire this particular bank and get my second eight from a different bank.
Can't complain though. Every month this year I've beaten my totals from the previous year. I'll beat last May even with boxes like I had today.

what?rich did not get any bens or walkers hope this is not a sign of things to come i mean you almost ALWAYS get bens and walkers in your boxes. bet you will get double next week. gotta go check out your son's dream box. guess he was due. he has cut his searching down has he not?

It will pick up. Everytime I think I need to switch things around, it sprinkles silver. Now I think we are waiting for silver hail storm.

I did not get a Walker or a Ben this week in my Wed.or Fri.Boxes. I did go one week once where I did not get a Walker, but I've never gone a week without both a Walker or a Ben.
Even my son's score was very light on the 90's. Could be drying up for me at least. I never get a dream box but I consistantly get something.
Scooba has been doing a lot less CRH, but then he does not need to.He's gotten more 90's in three road trips than I have in a year and a half. He gave me a couple of handfulls of mixed 90%ers one Christmas.
He should coin roll hunt fulltime because he can charm the meanest teller out of her stash. Probably get for free.

They must have ordered your boxes this week from wherever mine come from! (Memphis I think - do not know for sure) I wish I had the option to try boxes from different sources. Every bank here uses Loomis.

At any rate, better than nothing! Hope next week picks back up for you!

If my average box was even remotely close to yours, I wouldn't let a month's worth of skunks keep me from ordering. I'd just keep on piling up the silver! Best of luck to you! HH!

one a week?

I'm still waiting for a box with even 15 in it, and have been waiting for 3 years. I've had one box with double digits in it (11 total) since 2007. I'm going to make another pass next week, since my ryedale is down, and order 50 boxes this time (I spread it out over many branches and numerous banks, but do this about once every 8 weeks and see how I do. My feeble attempt is to get them all at once so that if there are some at the bottom of the pile that never get reached that I might make them reach down to there, since all at once 50 boxes are ordered. :-) Hasn't worked yet though)

We'll see how that goes, but the 40 I ordered in March turned into 36 skucnks and 4 with silver. 1 each. Total 4 silver in 40 boxes. 1 - 90% and 3- 40%'s.

I guess success and failure are gauged differently in different parts of the country.

I'm doing great buying houses for huge positive rental cash flows though. that makes this area great to be in, even if not for silver. :-) LOL. It all works out.

My son got his first dream box this week, so I jokingly meant that dream boxes are limited to no more than one per family member at a time.

Do you guys have a limit to when you would stop looking through boxes? lets say you went a month without finding any would you give it up for a while? I told my self 2 years ago that if I went 2 weeks without finding silver I would stop for 6 months. I haven't gone 2 days without finding anything yet.

I've never had a month with no silver but I did have three lean months in a row last year. In June of last year,when I wasn't doing many boxes I picked up 6 boxes all of which were a skunk. I quit doing boxes for four months,but still went on road trips.
