Todays 10 Boxes String Dimes -- 9/17/11 --

I had to do a lot more running around today after my dumps in order to get reloaded by the time the banks closed. The reason - All banks in my area are serviced by the same courier - Loomis, and all coins delivered Friday to all the banks were all solid 2011's. Took many extra banks to get circulated boxes.

1 Box of Halves -- Skunk

Also scored a 1967p Half Dollar from teller tray.

8 more boxes to go, but eyes going crossed and fingers beat.

No - Saturdays are me just going to a lot of banks of picking up what they have on hand. I pick up orders, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.

Yeah, it's just a crap shoot lately in my area. Last month I had a week where all 3 pickups were solid 2011 boxes. Since then, I had not received a single new box until the past week. No idea on how the process of Loomis works.

I got a box of mostly new coins this weekend, I was shocked when I saw a silver peeking out at me between the fiery red edge color. I almost didn't search it. Don't be deterred if it's mostly new coins, I literally had one roll of old coins in the box, and it had a silver nonetheless.

When I look through the holes and everyone of them is bright and shiny, I don't even open the box. I have several banks that know me well and will let me trade them for circulated boxes without them even opening up. Makes for a lot more work having to stop at many other banks that I had not planned on.
