Today I dicovered a cool coin that I've actually owned for a few years!

A few years ago I bought this 1942 Ten Centimos from Costa Rica at a local coin shop for only 50c out their junk box. I bought it because it has several die breaks on the obverse ~ no big deal, just kinda cool for only 50c. . . .

. . . . but today I was cleaning out a cup that I keep pens & stuff in and found this coin at the bottom of the cup. I had forgot about it! So, I took out my loop to look at the die breaks closer and I discovered that it's a major doubled die too! WOW!! Too bad it's not a US coin ~ it would be worth several hundred dollars! Oh well, still pretty cool for only 50c!!

I'm gonna stick this thing up on eBay!
