Recent finds from old and new spots
Great weekend to get out, weather was nice and cool and the woods are beautiful this time of year. Went to our well-hunted homesite and pond and found a KGII, great little acorn bell and an unusual bracelet. In the setting is a gold-plated disc, no design. Also found a 1907 IH and a 36 quarter:
Quarter right on the trail, all four of us have walked by it dozens of times. Makes me feel bad at this hobby.
Earlier today I found a little square of woods on Google Earth in a nearby town and decided to check it out. Glad I did:
Fifth SLQ this year, two mercs, another 07 penny and a wheat. Plus a little earring and local dog tag.
Also found Norm's Zippo:
