Good to see you Larsen 1951! It was too short, but maybe next week in part #3 they may show more of you playing that awesome guitar. You get better now, and don't give the nurses such a hard time.

Was that the show with the weird looking guitar that had about 300 strings on it? :laughing7: If so, I saw it.

Hey Steve...it was so nice to see you on the show & wish we could have heard you play more! Ditto on the meaning of your "Larson" avatar , beautiful guitars! You take care, rest and get better real soon....praying for you. :cat:

dam it so much...not on in Seattle!
If you use cable search for antique road show "miniature Japanese china set circa 1935" will be episode title, origina air date 2/23/15.

From all the posts I've read, Steve sure sounds like he's genuinely loved by all on here. I hope to make his acquaintance and I pray for his recovery. Prayers for his family too!!!

It's available online, around minute 23:30 or so in this episode.

At one point when Steve is describing the guitar, he says: "There's just something about this guitar, it's just got it." I think most of us who've been involved with Steve online here realize the same thing about him. He's unique, and he's just got it.

Oh man... just saw the way-too-brief segment on line... Praying hard for the man who's name I *thought* was Larsen. Steve, I am not Lakota and I cannot think/speak/pray well in that language. But in very rough translation:

ayabeya tokiyotata cantiya (everywhere is love)
ni sni ayusta (don't you ever give up)

and as for English, I offer you this-

There are songs
on our feet or lying down
the air is filled
every day with songs.
There are stars, moon, sun
on our feet or lying down.
our eyes are filled
every day with mystery.
Love,
and the always-present beat
of a great heart
is always,
every day
pulsing, beating in waves
of warm pure goodness.
These things are yours.
They have always been yours.
Just as they have always,
always
been.

Well put Joshua!!.......

Steve is still strong in spirit, but he still is weak and gets tired.
Please continue to keep Steve in your thoughts and prayers, that he may find a liver transplant soon! Thank You!
