Hey Guys,


Wow. 5 pages of prayers and tribute in just a few days. That shows how much people care for my dad. I have some good news, but that doesn't mean you can quit praying yet. He was well enough to wink and ask for things today, which is awesome. He took 4 hours of dialysis, which is more than before. It really takes the wind out of a person, so we try to keep people from visiting too much. His grand-daughter, Kytalin, really makes him happy. She was afraid to go to the hospital (just like he was), but she also could not resist visiting him, so eventually her desire to visit him overcame her fear and now she visits without fear. We are giving her a part time job there to keep his spirits up. They have a very special bond and I can see it when she walks in the room.

We are pulling hard for him, and we are still scared, but hopeful that he might be rounding the bend to recovery. We just have to see. His spirit is sure strong. I hope he reads this some day soon and knows how he is loved. Thanks again for your prayers and notes.

I am saddened to hear the news, but very happy to now hear of positive reports. Happened to see this and had to send prayers and positive thoughts.
Steve,you will, I am sure, have the help of much strong medicine, both modern day as well as old.
A friend that has traded pieces in the past. He offering incredible bone pieces and certainly giving the best part of any bargain.
Stay in the saddle.

I am so very touched by all well wishers and prayers. and I login just to see the positive progress. Know that my thoughts are out there....and I have the next Artifact you have to find the next... we need to have a contest this year. lest we can. Lets find a few this year. I know you will give me a run fer my money.

I guess one of the true tests of a persons character is how many caring people they have in their lives.Looks to me like you have aced this one Steve......get well and show me some more of that crazy bone stuff...mjm

Haven't been on this site very long but I do recognize the name. Praying for a full recovery and can't wait to see all of the cool finds when he gets back out.

He went through a 4th round of dialysis (oil change 5-30 as he was joking about it). He is tired, but hanging in there. He is an incredible provider To many which is becoming more and more evident. It would take many people working together to continue his legacy. We are hopeful he pulls through, so thanks in advance for continued prayer for
him, and those caring for him to make the right decisions, and that his gentle and caring spirit shows through in all people that he has demonstrated it to.
 

dialysis is a tough thing to have to go through on a regular basis hopefully he wont have to do it after he is released. Glad to hear he is showing good results. Hurry back friend.
