Its not that hard to work out ...Docs post was #1 therefore HHM was respondant # 23 even though he is listed as the 24 on the thread..congrats HHM and thanks Doc for the comp and your generousity

Op is first post #1. 23rd post from op is indeed #24's hardhatmat. Unless the OP is in the contest too the results seem correct to me.

I can count. But if number 23 is picked out how can it be 24. The number picked should be the winner. But if you want someone to win. I guess you can say anyone one. I don"t care who won but it don"t make sence. The winning number should be the winning number. May be on the gold hog site it explains it. Will check it out.

Dude, my 5yr old can do this math!

Why would the OP be an entrant in the contest? So he can win his own sluice?

Start with post #2 like it was #1 and count forward until you get to 23.

I bet the OP never expected so many maths challenged adults to enter the contest. Lmao.
 

Who cares?! We should all be grateful to Doc for even holding such an event. I think it was fair. And even in the entirely unlikely chance he did pick the person, its his choice. Some people choose to complain and whine about everything, even when someone kindly offers free stuff. Thanks Doc!!

I'm not complaining or whining but If you check the last time Doc did this (Dec 2015)
the #115 was picked and the #115 won.
Its real easy to do just start with minimum #2 and the maximum #230

Please keep your derogatory comments about my math skills to yourself as I have

Dude it has nothing to do with math. It said the numbers would be picked. And the number of the persons. Post would be the winning number. There no math to it. And a six grader could read that and figure it out.
 

It was based on "replies".
Next time I'll be a little more clear on it.
