hello again. found this in same area as previous queries and ive tried to determine what is via the internets with all sorts of descriptive and creative search phrases and, failing in that, resorted to the google lens app backup. depending on the angle google is telling me this is either a: meteorite fragment, a skull fragment, a clam, or a piece of grit tempered pottery. i doubt its the first two and im pretty sure it isnt a clam, so the last option seemed most reasonable to me, though it may actually be none of those things at all. still, id be interested to know what it actually is so i can stop thinking about it. its about 2" in diameter at its widest point, slightly curved-more than i would expect to find in an unintentional rock, and seems just a bit lighter than what i would expect it to be. any help is very much appreciated as always. cheers!
