Time to say Hello

I live in Lakewood. Have been lurking for several years, detecting for 25 or so years. Twice retired. I enjoy coinshooting, prospecting, woodworking (designer firewood, doll house furniture and "stuff") and fishing. I have owned a 3" dredge and a lot of Fisher metal detectors. My current goal is 6000 coins for the year. I have over 2000 so far this year. I currently have 3 sluice boxes and a pile of pans and classifiers. If anyone wants to get together for some detecting or panning for gold, I am free a lot! My wife and I spent time in Arizona in March, I looking for nuggets, and she picking up rocks. The weather was perfect but no nuggets. Oh well, the weather was still great.

John, welcome to T-Net, glad to have you join us. I live in Oklahoma or I'd sure take you up on your offer to go hunting with you. Like you, I also enjoy hunting for coins and gold! When we lived in California I'd go to AZ. 5 or 6 times a year with friends looking for that "Big Nugget" found some nice small ones but never that "Big One." Had lots of fun trying tho!
