0700 And really in a rush to get my rear in gear and get out the door right now to do some new early sites but I wanted to get this post in.
From 2 different sites many miles apart and a wide range of relics.
First is the button. Has a broken shank on the back and is about the size of a half dollar and is brass.
Looks like a man somewhat lounging. He's holding a staff and there is a book at his feet and he has wings. I am perplexed on this. Couldn't find anything like it researching. Maybe Masonic ?
About 100 feet from the button I found a beautiful scrapper. Made my day right there !
Relocated to another spot Iv'e had for a number of years and since it was plowed I headed out into the ankle breaking mountains of plowed earth and searched the hot spots.
Spent about 3 hours of listening to iron beeping and only got 2 good targets. First repeating target was an exquisite piece of can slaw.
An hour later I heard another can slaw type target and WoW ! A 1656 French laird. And in pretty good shape. Date is there in the lower right corner. And it is my second French laird I've found but in way better shape then the first.
Geared up for today and out the door now.
