After a couple of days of swimming (pull tab) hole hunts I took the Tiger Shark to the salt water for the first time. Hitting a decent amount of clad on the towel line brought me this one 10kp -and its just my size. About 8" down, a faint signal until one scoop of sand was removed. Then it hit like a dime would.

Thanks - I'm trying to identify the "pms" makers mark. Never realized how hard it can be to find, even on the internet.

I am not sure but it looks like it says 10kp. Not sure if that means plated or plumb. If plated not worth much. If plumb good find. Take it to a jewler to make sure. HH GFP

Yep, says "pms 10kp" -this seems to be a popular ring though I can't figure out who made them. The information I've found seems to be that kp means karat plumb, a sort of gold-percentage guarantee.

your right, that's what the kp means...congrats on a nice find.

Nice find !!! That's what I hope to find each time I go out and I've only been doing this about three weeks

Nice one.
I think KP stands for 'keeper'!
:occasion14:

Exactly!
MiamiFox: me, too. It's a matter of odds findin da gold. This was an elusive one, I believe. It's probably 2 grams at most so it might have been flipped around like a pulltab to some extent. I found it near a lone penny which don't indicate much, usually. The depth of it surprised me the most.

Tiger Sharks do love to find gold.
