hello all

i took my two girls down to our local river where the environment agency have been using a large digger to clean it.
today though they started to widen it just under a bridge and about a hundred feet either side to avoid further flooding.
so far they have scraped 12" off of the bank and seeing the spoil i couldnt help myself.
we got four coins so far three from the 1700s and one 1907 odly at the same depth.

my girls were looking in the spoil and found the bell and the badge just with their eyes. i think the bell is the best(lucky five year old!) and the badge still has its pin.(any ideas??)

thanks shaun
