Need help identifying these please!!!

1) looks like a bullet casing (but no rim) and was packed full of "wadding" type material? about an inch long. slightly narrower at the open end.

2) thought it was a tea strainer as its cup size(!) but holes too big?

3) key with "square" end - was told could be some sort of tool for an old musket?

thanks if you can help! IMGP0395.JPGIMGP0397.JPGIMGP0398.JPG

Thanks!!

would you know how it would have been used??

I think I got it - a wine barrel or similar? I also found loads of musket shot so was thinking "gun barrel"!

Its more for beer or cider barrels, & it would slot in the top of the barrel tap & lock it so others couldn't take the beer freely.

I believe item one is the handle off a window crank.

possibly - but this site is 99.9% trash free and 100% of all my finds here have been 1800 military items?

Barrel tap/gas/water valve key is military? Ummm... No.

"Tea strainer" with heart decorations military? Ummm... No again.

I believe you need to rethink the meaning of 100%.

All 3 items could easily be late 19th or early 20th C household items.

We need more pics of the "bullet casing" "packed full of wadding like material."

From the one picture it looks like a ferrule and the wadding could be rotten wood.
