Thought I'd do a relic walk today

Usually means much more walk then dig today. That was fine by me. Just wanted to unwind a bit.



Not much, but even that was ok today.



Kinda reminded me of a music holder?

It's marked sterling. Do they still do that today?

Anyway, nice day, nice walk. A Spring precursor.

That's the only thing I can figure. I think it has to be old. Its made pretty solid as opposed to the modern, flimsy things I've seen lately.

Funny thing you should mention that, I used to do Olympic style walking! Ran marathons too. Maybe that's why I can walk so long......still? LOL

BTB ...anyone know how long music holders like this have been used? I'm thinking this one came from the retired 7th calvary's bugler's bugle.
