After getting Bored there, I decided to run up
onto the Turnpike.

This is a Mid 1800's Stage Road. Very Rocky, & Muddy
& Winds it's way over a Mountain.

On the way up is a Driveway with This House on the end of it.

The House is Dated 1845 according to the Tax Records.

Thanks !

Unfortunately, it appears so pitted, it actually looks
like somone banged (Tapped) on it with a Hammer
everywhere except the face.

IF It wasn't a Large Cent, I'd think some Hobo
along the RR altered it.

Nice finds and pics Jeff.

Was the large cent deep. I bet it was. I've found them like that at so called hunted out sites.

HH Jer

About 7 inches Jer.
It gave a Nice loud Signal.
I thought it was a Quarter.

OH, & the House site isn't hunted out, It's very Trashy.

The Ball Field was Hunted Out.
Except for the Deepies.

The Lure of those old houses is what keeps us all going!

Man it's 30 degrees here and I spent all night getting my taxes ready for my accountant, switching back and forth from the treasure forum to my taxes. I was up till 2:30 AM and even though I am tired, those pictures you took really fires me up to want to go and hunt.
Temps are really low here in the Chicagoland area and I am just going to snuggle down and read some treasure post.

Great finds Jeff.

Jeff,

Just FYI...

Your Chevrolet cowl plate is from a 1953 Bel Air 4 door sedan. It's the first year for the Bel Air name on a Chevy. If the Body No. starts with 'N', it was built in Norwood Ohio (there is no 'M' factory code).

Where's the rest of the car? I need parts! ;D

DCMatt

Definately an "M" Matt
