Obama Administration?

The constitution was put there for a reason.. To protect us that statement rings true nowadays.. The shame of it is that not everyone sees it..

In a nutshell the 10th admendment says it all.....

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

It means somebody communicated with TJ from the dead in 2004 and got a quote from him. I wish I could talk to the dead...how cool would that be?

Crispin my friend, it is not hard, just read the Constitution..

Amendment 10 Bill of Rights

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

If the constitution does not say a specific "power" is reserved for the US government, and it does not say a specific "power" is forbidden to the states then the "power", what ever it may be belongs to the states or the people, it does NOT belong to the federal government....!

Nullify in other words.....

Maybe they are trying to say that YOUR INTERPRETATION of the 10th amendment means nothing.

Go to law school, pass the bar, practice for decades, learn over 200 years of ruling and case law, get yourself a seat on the supreme court ... and make all the rulings you want. Until then i and most other patriots will put our trust and faith in the system our founding fathers created and that has made this country great. Best

The constitution was written to be understood by persons of average intelligence. It's the accident-chasing lawyers that have turned it into something more akin to, "It depends upon what your definition of is, is".

ROFLMBO....... They created the Constitution.... Amend 10 is very clear and you do not need to be a lawyer to read and understand it either.....

It's funny you keep saying that about every article and amendment in the constitution. Yet absolutely no one with any knowledge of the law or our founding fathers for that matter believe that to be true. If everything was that obvious why did the founding fathers created the judicial branch of government.

Come on, you know better than that.

I actually think you would enjoy studying the process, Supreme Court rulings, history of law etc.

They exist to keep the word-twisting lawyers in line and they have never been needed more in the history of this country. I think that most of the people we have in government at the moment are on some sort of work furlough from jail. Seems like they do more negative stuff than positive. Actually, I can't think of anything positive that came my way.

??? Please explain. I don't understand your comment.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, I considered law school. Not so that I could be a lawyer and pass the bar. And I certainly didn't want to be a parasite, as they even existed then.

Yet I wanted the knowledge.

Now I'm grown up and I don't want that knowledge = pftuie!

And Crispin! I like your thoughts, but I'm disappointed in that post of yours....
