Wow, those are outstanding!

Those seated coins are very hard to find. You really have to live
in a place with a lot of history. What part of the country you from?

Hello
I live about 50 miles North of Houston Texas, out in the country.. I found 2 of them in a Ghost Town one room school house site circa 1850's thru 1870's close to my house and the other at a homesite in Montgomery Texas founded in 1838.

WOW!! Normaly I'd say that the half would be hard to top. But since you found these in your first year. I have a feeling it won't be to difficult for you. WTG!!! HH

Tico, You've had a great year!

In your opinion: What's the most profitable?....Old schools, Old churches, or Old Homesites?

Gee thats a tough question, I have had good luck at all three. I have stumbled on to 2 old school sites by hunting Church yards. back during the 1800's alot of churches were also used as schools and vice versa. I have found also found some old coins and relics around old homesites. i would say any of the three is an excellent place to search. If I had to chose just one it would be the Churches, they are easier to find and less trash than a Homesite. The trick is finding one that hasn't been pounded.
