Hi everyone

We had a succesfull trip at the weekend with our club.
and found plenty of coins at a country oval and caravan park, The ACE 250 performed nicely and we will save up and get a pinpointer for it to speed up recovery, if you only want to dig small holes they really are a must. Total coin count for both machines was 159 coins over Sat and Sun.

Explorer = 111
ACE 250 = 48

The sunray probe on the explorer sped up coin recovery and was often used in conjunction with the ACE to locate the coin in the hole after Vanessa detected with the ACE. We could have dug many more coins if Vanessa had her own probe and a better digger.

Total value of spendable coins was
Explorer = $49.70
Ace 250 = $15.85
Also detected
48 1c EXP 34 Ace 14
42 2c EXP 28 Ace 14
1 Florin Exp
3 sixpense Exp
1 Shilling Ace
3 penny Exp
2 1/2 penny Exp/ACE

1 mickey mouse club badge Exp
1 pendent ACE
2 buckles Exp

The ACE is a big hit with Vanessa and she was able to swing it through 2 sets of rechargables over two days this machine would really help get the novice hooked on detecting. The belltone for coins is just so easy to use, no earphones were used on the ACE and several members of our club were impressed with the machines performance in the hands of a novice. I do not think Vanessa will stay a novice for long with this machine.
I had better learn to share my spots!

1st image includes Australian army rising sun badge and some coins from local park.
