🔎 UNIDENTIFIED This seems to be a pendant?

I found this metal detecting an old cabin site that was also a 19th farm and also very near a Jesuit missionary sit in the mid 1600’s. Am I wishfully thinking it is some part of a pendant? It appears to be made of brass…

I have found these before and always attributed them to parasol parts......But I would be glad to learn differently if not so.
