What is this off of a car, wagon, or what? In my mind I have seen this object before. Any ideas appreciated. It is the top picture I am interested in the most. I know the place I found this object was active in the 1880's till 1930's. It is 5 inches long but is broken on the left side.

The circle on each side is about 50 cent size. Could this be part of a spring on a bucboard spring?

It kinda look's like a goose in a wheelchair!,Or maybe a internal part of an engine from a tractor, rocker maybe?

I was also thinking it looks like like a valve rocker (or lifter), but at 5" long I would think it would have to be be sturdier than it appears. Can you tell if the inside of the circles (where it would ride on a shaft) was machined to a very smooth surface? It would have to be for a lifter.

Yeah, I was thinking it was a rocker arm too. That's why I asked for a scale. It is really big for a rocker arm though. Maybe from a tractor or something similar. Even then, I still think that that is big for a rocker arm.

Don't know about the top picture, but be careful with the thing on the bottom. I'm pretty sure it bites. ;D HH
Too big for a rockler arm.

It's obviously a petrified claw from a Znutorian Mogwomp. (A common species of dune dragon from the planet Znutar).

Can't believe y'all didn't figger that out already. ;) ;D

Looks like the top part of a pump handle mechanism to me...

Could it be a piece of an old wheel barrow or small wagon? An axle could have run through the holes and had 2 wheels?

What was the area used for at that time?

In Chronological order. The place was used by wagons 1870's, train station for water, and then farming equipment.
Thanks for all your help. You are a great bunch of guys and gals. Again think you.
