russy and i went out and took a short walk after last nights rain and come up with some pieces
bone knife handle with the wide groove suited for KRF or TRSS blade(s) (rather than the thin slot for a copper or iron blade)
a black knife or point (don't know which) made of unknown type of stone (does anyone know what type of stone this is made from ?)
squash knife made from buffalo scapula which probably started out as a shovel or hoe then broke and used as a squash knife after that
it shows polish from use all the way around the perimeter of the piece including the edge where the fresh break was
here ya go

Nice finds Lars. No bone beads?

I've brought a new camera lead btw. will post pics once i get a spare 5 mins.

Molly.

Thanks for showing that squash knife/hoe. I hope to find one of those, but I wonder about our humid climate. Is your air fairly dry up there? or would you descibe it as humid? I would think drier, since you find so many bone artifacts?

Bone does not last long here either but I sure like seeing it from other areas. Thanks Lars !! Nice finds.

thanks
naturegirl, the bone does keep for a while longer here and with never any chemicals it might make a diff
keep in mind this stuff gets exposed after i cultivate the weeds and then when it rains the next time i go walk and find more laying around
